Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Directorate of Education (DoE) invites applications from amongst the qualified youth for engagement of Guest Teachers for the post(s) of Assistant Teacher (Primary/Nursery), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT/Lecturer) in Delhi Government Schools for the year 2014-15.

Assistant Teacher (Primary/Nursery), Trained Graduate Teacher(TGT) /  Post Graduate Teacher (PGT/Lecturer) / Special Education Teacher / Music Teacher / Drawing Teacher / Librarian.

Number of Posts: 14560 in various Subjects

Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on adhoc and daily basis till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be entitled to regular appointment. This is purely a stop gap arrangement. The candidates so engaged shall not claim salary, allowances, facilities and other benefits accruing to the regular teachers The candidates so engaged as Guest Teachers shall not file any court case regarding salary and reqularizaticn etc. Engagement of Guest Teachers is done Distrktwise. 

District Wise Vacancies: Central - 409, New Delhi - 37, East - 1649, North East - 3415, North - 884, North West-A - 1813, North West-B - 2340, South West-A - 494, South West-B - 49, West-B - 1235, West-A - 885, South – 1350

Educational Qualifications:
PGT/Lecturer :  Post Graduate degree in the subject concerned, with B.Ed.

TGT / Special Education Teacher : Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized University in
the concerned subject with B.Ed.

Assistant Teacher : Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and two years Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (AND) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

Librarian: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent diploma in library Science from a recognized University /Institute or equivalent and One year certificate in computer application from a recognized institute or equivalent.

Music Teacher: B.A. Degree with Music as one of the subject from a recognized University OR Higher Secondary with any one of the following i.e. Sangeet Visharad Examination of the Gandharava Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Bombay/Sangeet Kavid Examination of the Indra Kala Sangeet Vishwavidhyalaya Kheragarh MP / Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music) Allahabad / Sangeet Visharad Examination of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vtdyapeed, Lucknow (Previous Morris college of Hindustani Music Lucknow)/Final Examinaton of the Madhava Sangeet Mahavidyalaya Leshkar Gwalior

Drawing Teacher: MA in Drawing and Painting/Fine art from a recognized University OR B.A. (Hons) in Art & Art Education, OR B.A./B.A. with Drawing and Painting /Fine Art/Art with minimum 2 years' full time diploma from a recognized institution OR Higher Secondary/Intermediate with minimum 4 years' full time diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognized institution/University.

Age Limit: 36 Years for PGTs / EVGCs; 30 Years (40 Years for Female) for TGTs; 30 Years for Music Teacher / Drawing Teacher / Librarian and Assistant Teacher (Primary & Nursery) / Domesic Science Teacher.

How to Apply: Willing candidates may register themselves with anyone District of choice online on our website www.edudel.nic in from 30.07.2014 (11.00 AM) to 07.08.2014 (UPTO 6 PM). Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and any deviation in this regard shall lead to summary rejection.

Engagement Period: The engagement of Guest Teachers for the current academic session i.e. 2014-15 will be up to 08/05/2015 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever is earlier.
