AIIMS Recruitment of Faculty Posts 2016

AIIMS Bhopal is a premier Institute of National Importance (INI) established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training.

The Director, AIIMS Bhopal invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the faculty posts given as under:

NOTE:- The Director, AIIMS Bhopal reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements. Reservation is applied as per the roster provided by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Reservation for Persons with Disability (PWD) will be as per Govt. of India guidelines.  Age, experience and all other prescribed qualifications will be counted as on last date of submission of application.  The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.


Professor
Essential for medical candidates

1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. And/or
3. M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

ESSENTIAL FOR NON-MEDICAL CANDIDATES
1-Post graduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the discipline/ allied subject
2-A doctorate degree of recognized university
Experience-
Fourteen year teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

02.Additional Professor
Essential for medical candidates (for the General discipline) 1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical)

Experience
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for superspecialty discipline:-
1) Same as professor (medical)
2) D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience -
Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Seven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for Non- Medical Candidates-
1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical)

Experience:
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
03.Associate Professor
Essential for medical candidates (for General Discipline ) 1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).
Experience:
Six years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for superspeciality disciplines:-
1) Same as professor (medical)
2) D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience
Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M. /M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.


Essential for Non- Medical Candidates-
1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical)
Experience:
Six years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
04. Assistant Professor
Essential for medical candidates (for General Discipline )
1 to 2 are same as for Professor ( Medical)
Experience:
Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for superspeciality disciplines:-
1) Same as professor (medical)
2) D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

One years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized degree in D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

X. Pay:
1. Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with the minimum pay of Rs.51600/- and AGP of Rs.10500/-. Up to 40% of posts of Professors will get Higher Administrative (HAG) scale subject to clearance of the prescribed process.
2. Additional Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay being Rs.46000/- and AGP of Rs.9500/-
3. Associate Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay being Rs.42800/- and AGP of Rs.9000/-
4. Assistant Professor: Pay Band-3: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8000 with a minimum of Rs.30,000/- + NPA. (NPA for medically qualified candidates only) With provision to move to PB-4 after three years (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- Plus Usual Allowances admissible to equivalent posts in Government of India
XI. Promotions: A Teacher gaining requisite experience for the higher post can be granted promotion subject to the Rules and Regulations applicable from time to time in the Central Government Institutions/ AIIMS.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. It is candidates’ responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. Any misinformation detected at any stage will make the candidate liable for legal action.
2. The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of Interview.
3. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
4. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
5. The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is strictly prohibited.
6. He/She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
7. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
8. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
9. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
10. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
11. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
12. The appointment will be subject to review and probation for two years.

AIIMS Bhopal is one of the seven AIIMS apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna(PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.
