ONGC Technician and Health Care Attendant Recruitment 2014

ONGC‟s Hazira Plant, the largest Gas processing Plant in our Country, is looking for promising, energetic, bright and experienced persons in the disciplines of, Electronics, Electrical, Production, Mechanical, Chemistry, Boiler, Instrumentation, Civil and Para-Medicalfor recruitment at A-1, A-2 & W-1 level. For the advertised posts, the candidate should possess a valid registration certificate from any of the Employment Exchanges located in the State of Gujarat. However, the job is transferable to any onshore/offshore location in the country or abroad.

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test and shortlisted successful candidates will be called for interview. The selected candidates will be appointed subject to medical fitness as per rules of the Corporation.

1. Assistant Technician (A-2 LEVEL):  97 (Production - 09, Mechanical - 25, Electrical - 22, Instrumentation -04, Chemistry - 12, Electronics - 03, Boiler - 21, Civil - 01) 
Age Limit (as on 22/08/2014): 18 to 30 Years for General 18 to 33 Years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer  18 to 35 Years for SC/ST
Scale of Pay: Rs.12000-27000/-

2. Junior Assistant Technician (A-1 LEVEL): 40 (Boiler - 28, Electrical - 10, Production - 02)
Age Limit (as on 22/08/2014):18 to 30 Years for General  18 to 33 Years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer 18 to 35 Years for SC/ST
 Scale of Pay: Rs.11000- 24000/-

3. Health Care Attendant  (W-1 LEVEL): 01
Age Limit (as on 22/08/2014): 18 to 27 Years for General 18 to 30 Years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer 18 to 32 Years for SC/ST
Scale of Pay:  Rs.10000- 18000/-

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Technician :  3 years Diploma in required Engineering Discipline. Chemistry - Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.

Junior Assistant Technician :  High School or Class X (Matriculation) equivalent Board Examinations with Science, & Trade Certificate (ITI) in required Trade.

Health Care Attendant : High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with First Aid certificate from statutory body/ Institute like St. John's Ambulance or Red Cross Society etc. Six months experience as Technician in ECG/CSSD/Plaster/ Anaesthesia is desirable for this post.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test and shortlisted successful candidates will be called for interview. The selected candidates will be appointed subject to medical fitness as per rules of the Corporation. Exam Centre - Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat
