Railway (RRB) Engineering Exam 2015 Apply Online

Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) invites applications for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) Group – Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant [AND] Senior Section Engineer (SE) Group - Senior Section Engineer & Chief Depot Material Superintendent  in various RRBs.

1. Junior Engineer Group (Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant)

Age Limit: 18 to 32 Years (Upper Birth Date: UR - 02.07.1983, OBC - 02.07.1980, SC/ST - 02.07.1978; Lower Birth Date: 01.07.1997)

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200/-

2. Senior Section Engineer Group - (Senior Section Engineer, Chief Depot Material Superintendent)

Age Limit: 20 to 34 Years (Upper Birth Date -> UR - 02.01.1981, OBC - 02.07.1978, SC/ST - 02.07.1976; Lower Birth Date -> 01.07.1995)

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600/-


Educational Qualifications: From Recognized University / Institution approved by AICTE /UGC

Senior Section Engineer: Four years Bachelor's Degree in Concerned Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / IT / Communication / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial   /   Machining   / Instrumentation  & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering) [Senior Section Engineer (Signal) - M.Sc Electronics or equalvent discipline is also eligible]

Chief Depot Material Superindent: Degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.

Junior Engineer (Engineering Disciplines): Three years Diploma in concerned Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / IT / Communication / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial   /   Machining   / Instrumentation  & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering) [Junior Engineer (IT) - PGDCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA / DOEACC "A" level course  is also eligible]

Depot Material Superindent: Diploma in Engineering in any discipline.

Chemical Metallurgical Assistant:  Degree in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering (OR) M.Sc Degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry.

Selection Process: ONLINE Examination will be held on the same day by all participating RRBs between 22nd August 2015 and 5th September 2015.
