Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh Sate Council of Educational Research and Training, Raipur has issued notification against recruitment of Teachers for Classes I to VIII through Chhattisgarh Teachers Eligibility Test, 2014.
Qualification: The candidates having th following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing CG TET.
Minimum Educational Qualification for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.L.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.L.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Minimum Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Selection Process: Selections would be made on basis of performance in Examination.
Examination Fee:
Candidates belongs to General category need to pay the examination fee of Rs. 450/- for any one paper & Rs. 550/- for both the papers, OBC category have to pay fee Rs.350/- for any one paper & Rs. 450/- for both the papers and SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need to pay Rs.300/- for any one paper & Rs. 400/- for both papers. Fee must be paid through Challan at State Bank of India from 26-07-2014 to 09-08-2014 or can pay through online from 26-07-2014 to 07-08-2014.
