Calcutta High Court Recruitment of Group C and D 2014

Calcutta High Court, Office of The District Judge of Hooghly invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment of following posts in the Judgeship of Hooghly, West Bengal.

1.English Stenographer, (Group-'B'): 07 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 7100/--Rs. 37,600/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3900/-

2. Lower Division Clerk (Group-'C'): 33 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400/- - Rs. 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2600/-

3. English Typist - Copyist (Group-'C'): 21 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400/- - Rs. 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2600/-

4. Process Server (Group-'D'): 11 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400/- - Rs. 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2300/-

5. Peon: 50 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 4900/--Rs. 16,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1700/-

6. Gardener (Group-'D'): 01 post
Pay Scale: Rs. 4900/- - Rs. 16,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-

Educational Qualifications:
English Stenographer: Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation. Minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and a Minimum speed @ 30 w.p.m in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes.

LDC:  Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation.

English Typist- Copyist: Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation. A Minimum typing speed from legible manuscript @ 30 w.p.m in English is required.

Process Server / Peon / Gardener: The candidate must have Class-VIII pass certificate from any recognized school or Madrasah or any other recognized equivalent Institution.

Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years as on 1st January 2014 for all posts.

Application Fee: Each application must be accompanied by application Fee of Rs. 250/- for the post under Group-'B' and Group-'C Category and Rs. 200/- for Group-'D' Category in respect of candidates belongs to Unreserved and O.B.C. category. Application fee payable by S.C./S.T.ZP.W.D. for Group-'B' and Group-'C post is Rs. 200/- and application fee payable by S.C./S.T./P.W.D. candidates for Group-'D' post is Rs. 150/- excluding bank charges to be deposited at S.B.I, either through net banking or by cash through challan given in the advertisement which must be on a date after publication of Advertisement. The Application Fees to be deposited in favour of "Chairman, District Recruitment Committee, District Judgeship, Hooghly", payable at S.B.I.

How To Apply: The Application may be submitted in closed envelope either personally dropped in drop box between 10.30 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. on all working days at Head Quarter of District Court (English Department), Chinsurah, Hooghly or by Speed Post, Ordinary Post, Registered post (with or without A/D) addressed to the "Chairman, District Recruitment Committee, District Judgeship, Hooghly, P.O.-Chinsurah, Dist-Hooghly, Pin-712101"
