1. Junior Basic Teachers (JBT): 489 (General - 235, OBC - 177, SC - 77) [PH - 13, Sports - 21, Ex-Serviceman - 56]
Educational Qualifications:
(1) Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University with 40% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks at 10+2 level. Diploma in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration recognized by NCTE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR)
(2) JBT Certificate/Diploma of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50 % marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years
2. Nursery Teachers: 103 (General - 55, OBC - 32, SC - 16) [PH - 03, Sports - 05, Ex-Serviceman - 12]
Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years
Educational Qualifications:
(1) Senior Sec. School Certificate (10 + 2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma or certificate in NTT or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by NCTE of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks. (OR)
(2) Senior Sec. School Certificate (10 + 2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and NTT certificate/Diploma of not less than two years duration with at least 50% marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rs.250 in case of SC) will be accepted through online mode/challan. Candidates belonging to SC category must ensure that they have valid certificate issued by competent authority in their name.
