Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Examination Notification for Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2015 (including SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course).
1. Indian Military Academy ,Dehradun 140th Course commencing in January, 2016 (including 25 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C Certificate (Army Wing) holders) : 200 posts
Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not later than 1st January 1997 only are eligible.
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course commencing in January, 2016 Executive (General Service) (including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C Certificate holders (Naval Wing): 45 posts
Age Limit: Unmarried Male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not later than 1st January 1997 only
are eligible
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January, 2016 i.e. No.199/16F/PC: 32 posts
Age Limit: 20 to 24 years as on 1st Jan. 2016 i.e. born not earlier than 02 January, 1992 and not later than 01 January, 1996 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relax-able upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 02 January, 1990 and not later than 01 January, 1996) only are eligible
4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 103rd SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April, 2016: 175 posts
Age Limit: Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd January 1991 and not later than 1st January 1997 only are eligible
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 17th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April, 2016: 12 posts
Age Limit: Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1991 and not later than 1st January 1997
Educational Qualifications:
For Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution/
For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10-1-2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit accord¬ng to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination (I),2015 as per guidelines.
Selection Process: Written Examination and Interview Test will be purely provisional.
Application Fee: General and OBC Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. All Female Candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes are not required to pay any fee.
